so here’s a day just for you!

community, and relationships across generations. Visit the school, find out what students are
learning, and celebrate with us.

During visits in classrooms, teachers will have activities for both grandparents and grandchildren to engage in together. If you have a skill you would like to share with the class or a small group please let the classroom teacher know. This could be a skill such as knitting, crafts, art, etc.

A special request: Students often wonder what school and life was like when you were young. We ask grandparents to come to the event prepared to answer a few questions about their years growing up. Students may complete a few activities that look at then and now.
We’d love to hear your memories and stories!

Together, playing games of past is about having fun, learning and teaching new games and enjoying each others company. If you have any games you would like to share and that you played as a child please bring them along. Games such as skip rope, hula hoop, knuckle bones, checkers and the like.

At 12.30 it is time to sit, relax and enjoy a picnic with each other. Please bring along a picnic lunch and a rug to sit on so as you can sit outside and enjoy the lunch hour with your grand child or friend. A coffee van will be available to those who wish to buy themselves a coffee or tea however there will also be standard tea and coffee provided in Area 7, located near the netball courts.
